Arthur's Place wins NRAS Patients In Focus Gold Award
Arthur’s Place is a winner of the prestigious National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society Patients In Focus Gold Award, a prize given each year to the one project in the UK deemed to be the most innovative, inspiring and helpful for people living with arthritis.
The award was presented to Arthur’s Place founder Andrea McBride by NRAS chief executive Ailsa Bosworth at Rheumatology 2014, the British Society for Rheumatology conference, in front of an audience of rheumatology experts and professionals. Obviously, a lot of time was spent choosing what to wear.
“It’s such a privilege to win this award,” says Andrea. “It’s so important to know that what we’re doing at Arthur’s Place is of genuine value to young people. We respect NRAS’s work hugely and its stamp of approval means a lot to us.”
