Or rather it’s been National Arthritis Week since last Sunday.
I love National Arthritis Week, because as you might have noticed I quite like talking about arthritis. Having it, telling people about it, talking about things that have happened to me because I have it. You name something to do with arthritis, you can bet your money I’ve talked about it. I’d put it in my top five things to talk about.
National Arthritis Week is a great time to talk about arthritis, because even people without arthritis tend to listen. They listen and they can understand and sometimes they might feel generous and donate some money to a charity that helps people with arthritis, either by research or giving money for help and advice.
I think people need to know more about arthritis in younger people as there is so little awareness of it. I hope that this week everyone has been telling people about arthritis at every possible opportunity, or at least giving to a good cause that will help get the word out.
