Spring in my steps

I enjoy going outside now. I’m being really productive and feel like I have energy a lot of the time, and I’m putting it all down to the change in the season.

My joints don’t necessarily feel better, but that’s probably down to the fact I’m not on any medication right now. But in my head I feel like they probably would feel better were circumstances different, which is acting as a good thing in itself.

It’s hard not to feel great when it’s not dark in the morning, and then again at 4pm. Don’t get me wrong, I love winter. It’s the season to be jolly and wear  boots. I much prefer boots and jumpers to the fashion nightmare that is spring – it’s too warm for boots, what am I meant to wear?

There’s also the daily discussion of coat or no coat, brolly or no brolly? And don’t even get me started on the shoes.

But other than that, spring is great. I like all the flowers and the sunshine and being able to open windows. The latter of these things is particularly good as the kitchen window has been broken and unable to close since before I moved in in September. I now have a use for the constant light breeze that has been plaguing my flat for the last eight months.

Roll on summer!
