Photographer Margot Giannaklis, 25, was diagnosed with arthritis at Uni. We asked her to keep a photo diary for one week; the result is a set of beautiful and thought-provoking images (click to enlarge)

Day 1 - This is my local hospital. When I'm not well or in flare-up it can feel like I'm never away from it.

Day 1 - Sometimes these kind of posters get to me, especially when I haven’t been well. They are far too upbeat for my liking!

Day 3 - Headed to the Edinburgh Film Festival as film studies are my background and it’s a lively place to be. I saw two films.

Day 5 - Everything is more painful now and it starts to drain my energy. Its hard to focus on other things with conviction.
